Team Funk wins

Fred Funk, along with former Washington Redskins quarterback Joe Theismann, Bill Wigglesworth and Joe Lacher won the Travelers Celebrity Pro-Am championship, shooting a 15-under-par 70.

Heavy rainfall halted Wednesday's event, so scoring was broken down into three sections: 18-hole event, which Funk's team won, front nine and back nine.

Peter Leonard, Gary Taylor, Gary Gates and David Jones won the front nine, shooting a 26. Ryan Moore, Rob Linehan, Jack Linehan and Tom Linehan won the back nine, shooting a 30.

The first round of the Travelers Championship kicks off Thursday with Len Mattiace teeing off at 6:50 a.m.
